Plim Plim - En Vivo Houston Theatre reviews
Three Dog Night
On my 52nd birthday, I had to see Plim Plim - En Vivo as they were a bit before my time, but their music was always around. I have attended current-day jam bands in small venues in the last three years, and finding live music or a concert is a tradition for me. Their music and songs are appreciated by me through the years as I have aged because the message is timeless and the music in every song is a perfect marriage to the words. I took a date who is 34, and we maybe sat through one song before we were dancing and singing. They don't dance around on stage as much as maybe they once did, but when it's there, it's there, and they deliver the Plim Plim - En Vivo sound and magic that will get you up out of your seat. In fact, Plim Plim - En Vivo would be the only band I would want to go see because I appreciated their music and songs. I've heard a few other late 70s bands only to be very disappointed because they didn't have any of their magic. There are very few bands that you can just feel the realness of the love and appreciation a band has for their fans. They are great performers even now and even better singers and musicians, and for an evening, the magic of Plim Plim - En Vivo was no less than what I imagine it was 35 years ago. When its there its there, and though they don't dance around on stage as much as maybe they once did they deliver the Plim Plim - En Vivo sound and magic that will get you up out of your seat. My hats off to one of the best!
